Born February 16, 1945 in Exeter during a severe blizzard, she was the daughter of Margaret A. & Raymond F. Thomas, Sr. She grew up in Fremont, graduating in 1963 from Sanborn Seminary in Kingston. Ann later became an award-winning Oregon State volunteer advocate for the elderly. She leaves her husband “Bill” of 39 years, a brother Matthew (Sandy) Thomas and four sisters Margaret Matick, Florence Chamberlain, Georgia Bolduc - all of the Fremont/Exeter area, and Chris Coverston of N.C. She leaves two stepdaughters Cindy & Shannon Locke, five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, 72 nieces & nephews, and many dear friends. Ann had a true heart of gold, helping countless family and friends in so many unselfish, giving ways with a very caring and compassionate heart --- a true angel to so many who will forever genuinely miss her.
