Brenda A. Morin, 72, of Old Turnpike Rd passed away at Mass General Hospital, Boston, on Tuesday, September 20, 2016 with her family by her side.
Brenda was born on September 12, 1944 in North Conway, N.H., the daughter of Calvin and Eleanor (Drew) Johnson.
For over 30 years, Brenda worked as a government employee as a front-end supervisor at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, winning various awards. Brenda was known as being able to “make things happen”.
One of her hobbies was her amazing ability at gardening where she was able to indulge in her love of the outdoors. While working for the government, she was also able to indulge in her love of traveling. Her love of riding on a motorcycle was known by many. Brenda found happiness and calm through her enjoyment of the ocean. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
She predeceased by her first husband, Robert Valarese of 35 years and is survived by her current husband, Robert Morin, of 14 years, Doreen Boivin, her husband Roger of Saco, Maine; her daughters, Eleanor Emery of Canterbury and Theresa Valarese of Nottingham; her son, Robert Valarese of Nottingham; and her brother, Ralph and his wife, Mary Johnson of Winchester, Mass.; her sisters, Dorothy and her husband, Butch Monaghan of Florida and Teresa Johnson of Fryeburg, Maine; 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
