Brenda's Story

Text size

Brenda was always known as someone who would give you the shirt off her back. She was generous and helpful to all that crossed her path. From taking in a person that needed a hot meal, to a stray animal needing a home, to organizing fund raising activities in her earlier years; she was always there to help those in need. Her grandchildren’s fondest memories are of going to the lake with Nana and Grandpa and spending hours going fishing. She loved to travel, gamble at the casino, work on her various crafts and spend time with her close friends and family.
She was predeceased by her father, William Schofield and her aunt, Edith Shepard.
She is survived by her husband, Timothy O’Neil of Ridge Manor, Fla.; her mother, Dorothy Schofield of Ridge Manor, Fla.; her beloved dogs, Roscoe and Lucy; her daughter, Jennifer Florin and husband, David of Barrington, N.H.; son, Michael O’Neil and wife Beth of Rumney, N.H.; grandchildren, Scott Weinhold and wife Shea of McGregor, Texas; Zachary Florin of Barrington, N.H.; Tyler O’Neil and wife Sara of Loudon, N.H.; Miranda O’Neil of Rumney, NH; cherished aunt and uncle, Helen Farrar and Warren Moody of Ridge Manor, Fla. and Freedom, Maine; dear friends Joyce Wiener and Linda Lawton; and many in-laws, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Arrangements are being handled by Hodges Family Funeral Home in Dade City, Fla.
There will be no services at this time per her request. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Cocheco Valley Humane Society of Dover, N.H. in Brenda’s name.
