Donald L. Weese, Jr., 68, a resident of Kingston for the past thirty-three years, died April 5, 2010 at Exeter Hospital, after being stricken by a heart attack at his home.
Born in Grafton, West Virginia, son of the late Donald L. and Effie (Taylor) Weese, he attended local schools.
He was employed by the International Brotherhood of Boilermakers, Local 29 of Quincy, MA, and retired in 2003. He also previously worked as a cabinet maker and worked in the maintenance department of the Exeter School System.
Mr. Weese attended Christ Church in Exeter, and was a member of the Ray-Fre Senior Center of Raymond. A lover of birds, he also enjoyed cooking, working in his yard, and card games, including cribbage and poker.
He is survived by his wife of forty years, Cornelia “Connie” (Haynes) Weese, two sons, Donald L. Weese, III, and Dereck J. Weese, all of Kingston; a brother Larry Weese and his wife Cheryl of Texas; two sisters, Barbara Haynes and her husband Albert of Atkinson, and Linda Fancher of Grafton, WV; a brother-in-law, William H. Haynes, III; two special nieces, Dana Hoover and Diane Maloney of Grafton, WV; and several more nieces, nephews and cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a graveside service to be held on Sat., April 24, at 11:00 a.m., at Pine Grove Cemetery, Kingston. The family requests that memorial donations be made to The American Heart Association, 2 Wall St., Manchester, NH 03101.
