Donna J. (McDevitt)'s Story
Donna J. (McDevitt) Breen passed away peacefully at home surrounded by those she loved on Thursday evening, April 6. A native of Woburn, she was the daughter of the late Francis McDevitt and Florence (McDevitt) Eidukonis. Donna loved the beaches of Antigua, the warmth of the sun, animals, laughter, and good company. Much of Donna's time was spent fostering kittens and volunteering at various animal shelters throughout the Merrimack Valley.
Sadly, Donna leaves behind her beloved husband of 30 years, Michael Breen of Plaistow, N.H.; cherished and loved daughter by choice, Corlee Imondi and her two sons, Cole Liguori and Aryn Simons of Sandown, N.H.; her dear siblings, Carol McEleney of Woburn, Jim Stamboulides, his wife, Rosemarie of Ashland, Brian McDevitt, his wife, Tracy of Woburn,William McDevitt, his wife, Nancy of Londonderry, N.H. Dear mother-in-law of Maryan Breen of Woburn; brothers and sisters in-law, Ronald and Nancy Breen of Plaistow, N.H., Allison and Paul Yankowskas of Londonderry, N.H., and Maura and Peter Erwin of Assonett; and many loving neices and nephews, Marci, Meghan, and Michael McDevitt, Meghan and Erin Yankowskas, Christina, Andrew, and the late Sean Breen, and Patrick and Seamus Erwin.
A Funeral was held in the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home, 263 Main Street, Woburn, Tuesday, April 11th at 10 a.m. Interment in Calvary Cemetery, Winchester. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to calling hours, Monday,4 to 8 p.m.. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made in Donna's honor to the MSPCA Nevins Farm, 400 Broadway, Methuen, MA 01844 on behalf of Donna’s great love of animals.
