BRENTWOOD — Edward L. Harwood, a resident of Barka Assisted Living at the Rockingham County facility, died July 31, 2010, at the age of 82.
He was born July 9, 1928 in Honolulu, Hawaii, son of Edward C. Harwood and Harriet (Haynes) Harwood.

After attending Bryant and Stratton College, he worked as an accountant for the New England Gas and Electric Company (now known as North Star).
At retirement, Ted moved to Folsom Acres in Exeter where he served as Treasurer for that Condominium Association for many years.
Mr. Harwood is survived by a sister, Marjorie, and her husband, James M. Greer of Nottingham and a sister-in-law, Marjorie Harwood of Exeter, as well as eight nieces and nephews and their families.
He was predeceased by his brother Richard F. Harwood (husband of Marjorie of Exeter).
Inasmuch as Ted was generous to many non-profit organizations, you may wish to make a donation in his memory to any one of his favorite charities: such as, the American Heart Association, the American Cancer Society, the American Institute for Economic Research, the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, Habitat for Humanity, Rails to Trails Conservancy, or UNICEF.
