DANVILLE, N.H. — Frank G. McCarthy, 82, died Tuesday, Dec. 14, 2010 at the Rockingham County Nursing Home in Brentwood, N.H., after a period of declining health.
He was born July 19, 1928 in Andover, Mass., son of the late Frank G. and Mary C. (Conlin) McCarthy.
Frank was raised in Andover and was a graduate of Andover High School. He enlisted into the U.S. Army and served for several years. Frank had various employment's during his life, but retired after working many years in Security at the Lawrence General Hospital. Mr. McCarthy had been a longtime resident of the Four Seasons Community of Danville, N.H., for many years.
He was formerly married to Evelyn McCarthy of Plaistow, N.H., and together they had four children. He was predeceased by a daughter, Kathleen Ann McCarthy, and a brother, John "Jack" McCarthy.
Frank is survived by two daughters, Susan M. Grady and Lisa M. McCarthy; a son, Frank G. McCarthy Jr.; three grandchildren, Cameron J. McCarthy, Shawn H. Nally, and Erin M. Grady.
