DANVILLE, N.H. — Gordon "Doug" Douglas Durling, 65, died suddenly on Friday, Oct. 8, 2010 at his home in Danville, N.H.
He was born June 20, 1945 in Arlington, Mass., son of the late Charles and Lena (MacGregor) Durling. He worked for Drowne Enterprises, Flaughtly Corp. and had his own business; Durling Construction. He was self trained in his field of work. Most recently, he worked for Hathaway Builders, Sandown, N.H.
He is survived by his two daughters, Deborah Mayo and her husband Robert of Raymond, N.H., and Vanessa Durling of Raymond, N.H.; two grandchildren, Sabrina and David Mayo; three brothers, Wendell Durling of Pembroke, N.H., Orrin Durling of Magnolia, Del., and Clifford Durling of Raymond, N.H.; two sisters, Esther E. West of Ossipee, N.H., and Bonnie Broyles of Danville, N.H.; and several nieces and nephews.
