Helen F. Case

Hampstead, NH — Helen F. (Repetto) Case, 85, passed July 22 at Merrimack Valley Hospice House after a lengthy battle with cancer. Born in Malden, Mass., Aug. 28, 1927, to Joseph and Dorothy (White) Repetto, she resided most of her life and raised her family there. She moved to Hampstead, N.H., in 1978 after the death of her loving husband of 25 years, Peter R. Case. Helen started working at age 14 at Jordan Marsh in Boston and was part-owner of The English Muffin restaurant in Hampstead. She loved bowling and playing Bingo with her friends at the Vic Geary Center in Plaistow and enjoyed reading books while taking delight in the views of Sunset Lake. More than anything, she enjoyed time spent with her family. She will be remembered as a devoted mother and grandmother and was looking forward to welcoming two great-granddaughters this year. She was predeceased by husband, Peter R. Case; brother, James Repetto; and grandson, Peter Guilmette. Family members include daughters, Elizabeth Robinson and husband, Thomas Jr., of Lutz, Fla., Cecelia Noel and husband, Richard, of Sandown, Marianne Colella and husband, Alfred, of Sandown, and Helen Guilmette and husband, David, of Manchester, N.H.; six grandchildren; a sister, Susan Mignault of Beverly; her brothers, Joseph Repetto of Billerica, Henry Repetto of Alfred, ME, Richard Repetto of New York; and several nieces and nephews.

ARRANGEMENTS: Services will be Friday, July 26, from 3 to 7 p.m. at Douglas and Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem, NH. A celebration of life will be held at a future date. In lieu of flowers, Helen wished for memorial donations to be made in memory of her grandson, Peter Guilmette, to the Make A Wish Foundation of NH, 814 Elm St., Manchester NH 03101.
