James Goudin, Jr., age 72, of Haverhill, died Thurs., May 20, 2010, at The Oxford.
Born and educated in Lawrence, MA, son of the late James and Jeannette (Boudreault) Goudin, he moved to Haverhill several years ago. Mr. Goudin owned and operated Jimmy’s Cleaning Service and later Jimmy’s Trucking in Haverhill for many years before his retirement.
He was a member of All Saints Parish and the former St. Joseph Parish and the Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed camping in his recreational vehicle, woodworking, and spending time with his grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife of forty-seven years, Paula (Larocque) Goudin, sons and daughters-in-law, Steven J. and Christine Goudin of Fremont, Robert J. and Christine Goudin of Eustis, Florida, and John P. Goudin of Haverhill, MA; a daughter, Debra M. Brown of Haverhill, MA; a sister Alice Lemay of Methuen, MA; eight grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
His funeral was held on May 25 at Berube-Comeau Funeral Home, Haverhill, MA, Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in All Saints Church, Haverhill. Burial was in Saint Joseph Cemetery, Haverhill. Relatives and friends may make donations to the Alzheimer’s Association, 311 Arsenal St., Watertown, MA.
