James S.'s Story
James S. Legros, Jr., 29, of Center Ossipee, N.H., passed away on Saturday, October 29, 2016, in Hugo, Okla.
He was born February 6, 1987, in Lawrence, Mass., and grew up in Center Ossipee, N.H.
James attended Kingswood Regional High School in Wolfeboro, N.H., where he was a member of the football team.
Jimi worked for various circuses traveling around the United States, working as a master sound and lighting technician. A self-taught guitar player and singer, he played numerous gigs in New Hampshire and Massachusetts as well as on the road.
Always smiling, he was a free spirit that enjoyed reading, music and nature.
Jimi is survived by his parents, James, Sr. and Julie Legros, a sister, Shelby and a brother, Lance, all from Center Ossipee, N.H. He is also survived by a brother, Scotty and a sister, Jonlyn of Atkinson, N.H.; a daughter, Darien of New Hampshire; his grandparents, James and Rose Rivers of Sandown, N.H.; and his grandmother, Barbara Legros of Atkinson, N.H.; many aunts, uncles and cousins; and many friends from New Hampshire to Massachusetts and across the country.
A memorial service was held at the First Congregational Church, 50 Old Route 16B, Center Ossipee, N..H on Sunday, November 13, 2016, beginning at 1:30 p.m. A reception was held at the church following the service.
