NORRIS, S.C. — Jay B. Lovato, 45, formerly of Exeter and Raymond, N.H., died Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2011 in Norris, S.C.
He was born May 23, 1965 at Manchester, N.H., the son of Ann (Thomas) Locke of Portland, Ore. and the late Joseph Lovato, Jr.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda Lovato of Liberty, S.C. and his four children: Jason M. Runcie of Westminster, James M. Lovato and Jessica Lovato of Oregon, and Nikki Lovato of Kingfield, Maine; four step-children, Michael Thibedeau, Jr. Wayne Vincent and James Griffin of Liberty, S.C. and Stacey Fongeallaz of Raymond. He was predeceased by a sister, Felicia (Lovato) Courtemanche of Raymond.
He worked in the automotive industry for several years as a mechanic and autobody specialist. He enjoyed motorcycling and spending time with his friends and family. He was a member of the Community Fellowship Church in Norris.
ARRANGEMENTS: A private memorial service will be held Friday, Jan. 28, in Liberty, S.C. Palmetto Technical College, Norris, S.C. is in charge of cremation arrangements.
