Newton Junction, NH - Jeanne (Cunningham) Seekamp passed away peacefully at home on February 1, 2019 of complications due to Parkinson's. She was born on November 18, 1948 in New York, New York and is predeceased by her parents Frank and Joan (Drake) Cunningham. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Michael, and her sisters, Patricia Rein and her husband Steve of Cascade Locks, Oregon, Eileen Pfister of Sacramento, California, Loretta Bernardez and her husband Billy of New York, New York, Elizabeth Bailes and her husband Jess of Winter Park, Florida and her brother Phillip and his wife Suzy of Merritt Island, Florida plus many cousins, nieces and nephews - including Twyla Heaney of Winter Springs, Florida who once lived with "Auntie Jeanne and Uncle Mook". Jeanne attended Haldane High School in Cold Spring, N.Y. and graduated from Newburgh Free Academy in Newburgh, New York. She received her Bachelor's Degree from Springfield College School of Human Services. Jeanne enjoyed creating fabric crafts such as ladies handbags and dolls and marketed her dolls under the name of Femmes and Floozies. She was an avid reader, sometimes devouring three or more books a week. She also enjoyed "Watching the Detectives" on TV. There will be a memorial service celebrating Jeanne's life in the spring.
