Joseph R. Carney (Joe) died suddenly on March 22, 2010 at the age of 44.
Joe was born in Methuen, MA, and moved to Kingston at the age of eight. He lived at the family home his whole life until recently moving to Plaistow.
Joe was the son of Raymond L. Carney of Newton, and the late Patricia R Carney. He had two sisters, both of Plaistow.
Joe attended Sanborn Regional High School, and was a man of many talents. He was a licensed plumber and worked for Apollo Plumbing of Lawrence, MA, and before that, he worked as a skilled butcher at Kenney & Co. of Lawrence, MA. Joe loved spending time with his four young daughters, fishing, playing guitar and just having fun.
Joe will be sadly missed by his fiance Patti, his father Raymond L Carney of Newton, sister Jane George and husband Randy, sister Roberta Tarmy, and his four daughters: Erin, age 10, Aimee, age 7, and twin daughters Emily and Kimberly. age 5. Joe was predeceased by his mother Patricia R Carney who passed away March, 1999. He also leaves behind his nieces and nephews with whom he was very close: Kayla, Erica and Jesse George, and Lindsay and Jordan Tarmy, all of Plaistow, and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
A private service was held for family members.
