LONDONDERRY, NH: Kevin L. Campagna of Londonderry, N.H., died suddenly at the age of 62 on May 6, 2015. He grew up in Lawrence, where he graduated from Lawrence High School. Trained as a computer technician, he worked for Wang Laboratories, Digital and Clearpoint Research Corporation until a serious back injury forced his early retirement.
A member of the Yankee Armor Guild and the Granite State Modelers Club of Nashua, N.H., he was an avid modeler who enjoyed making models of all types, particularly the naval ships and military aircraft of World War II. His extensive knowledge and interest in history, along with his precision and scrupulous attention to detail, helped him create award winning masterpieces. He always enjoyed sharing his knowledge and skills, especially with younger modelers new to the hobby. Kevin also enjoyed swimming and boating and was a skilled photographer and artist. His many watercolors can be found in the homes of his family and friends. Kevin's smile, laughter and quick wit will be missed by his family and close friends.
The son of the late Cecile LeVeille Campagna, he is survived by his sister, Lynne (Campagna Ireson) Wilby of Kingston, N.H.; nephews, Joshua Ireson of Burlington, Vt., Nathan Ireson and his wife, Tiffany (McCormick) of Seattle, Wash.; and niece, Jen Wilby of Seattle.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2015 at 3 p.m. at the Pilgrim United Church of Christ Brentwood-Kingston, 197 Middle Rd., Brentwood, NH 03833. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Homes for Our Troops @ www.hfotusa.org.
