Lois Edna (Barnes)'s Story

A beloved mother and grandmother born in Waltham to Eugene Leon and Ella Mildred (Morey) Barnes, she was preceded in death by both parents, three brothers Donald, Robert, and Norman and one sister, Mae. She is survived by a brother, Richard and wife, Nancy in Boulder City Nevada; three sons, Richard Alan Anderson Jr. of Weaverville, N.C., Gregory Scott Anderson of Rhome, Texas, and David Eugene and wife, Donna Marie Paris Anderson of Newton, N.H. and four grandchildren, Derek Anderson, Amanda Lynn Anderson, Ashley Rose Anderson and MacKenzie Elise Anderson. She was employed for 30 years at the Holy Family Hospital (Bon Secours Hospital).
A graduate of St. Ann's School in Arlington, she was a lover of poetry, nature, art, music and film and all things beautiful. She will be greatly missed.
A graveside service was held at Highland Cemetery in Newton, N.H. on Monday, June 27, 2016.
