KINGSTON, NH: Margaret Woodworth, of Main Street, passed away on February 22, 2015, after a brief stay at the Rockingham County Rehab Center at age 95.
She was born on September 11, 1919 in New York City. She was predeceased by her Irish parents, Patrick Murray and Mary O’Neil, her husband of 50 years, Dale E. Woodworth her brothers, John, James and Peter Murray and her sister, Marie McCormick.
She is survived by her four sons, John R. Woodworth of Jefferson, N.Y., Michael of Newfields, N.H., and Brian, and Dennis, both of Kingston, N.H.
She was a housewife for most of her life but worked during WW II making parts for airplane gun sites and later for over a decade as a loan officer at the Nassau County Credit Union on Long Island, N.Y. She was a devout Catholic all her life and a member of St. Michael’s in Exeter, N.H.
