KINGSTON, NH: Melissa Riley, 36, of Kingston, N.H., passed away Saturday, September 12, after a long battle with drug addiction.
She was born in Haverhill, Dec. 15, 1978 the loving daughter of Dennis and Kathleen (Smith) Riley.
Melissa was educated in the Sanborn school system and graduated from Sanborn High School. She furthered her education and earned her Certified Nurses Aid certificate.
Ms. Riley was employed as a C.N.A at Harbor Side Health Care in Amesbury and also at Country Manor in Newburyport.
In her free time, she enjoyed trips to the beach and spending time with her family, especially her two sons Devon and Jacob Busch. Melissa was also an avid New England Patriots fan and enjoyed camping.
She is survived by her parents, Dennis and Kathleen Riley of Kingston; her children, Devon and Jacob Busch, her brother, Paul Riley and her sister, Jennifer Riley; her uncles and aunts, Michael and Charlotte Riley of Sweden, Maine and Sharyn and Joe Callery of Plum Island, as well as many friends.
Her calling hours were held September 17 at the H.L. Farmer and Sons Funeral Home, 106 Summer St., Haverhill. Her funeral service followed the calling hours.
