Paula Ann (Pevear) Senter, 57, of Raymond, died May 6, 2010 at Exeter Healthcare with loving family at her side after a brief battle with pancreatic cancer. Born in Exeter, July 15, 1952, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Frances (Bristol) Pevear. Paula was a graduate of Portsmouth High School with the Class of 1971 and was a long-time employee of Scandia Plastics in Plaistow before her retirement in 1999. She was the wife of Richard A. Senter of Raymond.
Paula was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who loved spending time with her family. She also enjoyed outdoor activities, visiting many of New England’s beaches and agricultural fairs, as well as camping and hiking. Paula had climbed several peaks of the White Mountain range.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Angelina Cortes and husband John of Sandown, and Tammy Symons and husband Ian of Derry; a stepson and stepdaughter, Richard Senter, Jr., of Hampton and Cassie Raymer of Pegram, TN; five grandchildren, Amanda and Kristina Cortes, Douglas Symons, and Anastasia and Isabelle Raymer; a brother, David Pevear of Epping; three sisters, Cindy Harrington of Anchorage, AK, Penny Osborne of Strafford and Trudy Kimball of Shapleigh, ME; as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her infant granddaughter, Jessica Cortes in 2000.
Services for Paula will be private.
