LAWRENCE, MA: On Sunday, July 19, 2015, the angels came down and wrapped their arms around Phyllis B. (Duchesne) Coletta, and took her home. She passed away peacefully at the Mary Immaculate Nursing Home, in Lawrence. Phyllis, 89, was predeceased by her parents Harry and Elvira (Gordon) Duchesne.
She was born in Nashua, N.H., and was educated at St. Anne’s Grammar School, in Lawrence. She graduated from Lawrence High School. Phyllis worked for 30 years at Western Electric and retired at age 55. She was a member of the Telephone Pioneers. She was very active in the choir at Mt. Carmel Church for several years, and was a member of the Third Order of Mary. She also belonged to the rosary group at the church.
Phyllis loved to travel and ventured to many destinations, and also enjoyed travelling throughout the United States to visit her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a wonderful homemaker who loved to bake, cook, sew, knit and crochet, but most of all enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband of 46 years, Domenic Coletta, who passed away in 1990; her beloved companion of 20 years, Romeo Pellerin, who fondly referred to her as his favorite redhead; and also a granddaughter, Marissa Espinosa.
