Roxann's Story

BRENTWOOD, N.H. — Roxann J. (Turcotte) Brown, of Brentwood, formerly of Seabrook, N.H., died Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2011, at the Rockingham County Nursing Home in Brentwood with loving family by her side.

She was born in St. Johnsbury, Vt., on June 30, 1948, a daughter of the late Willard L.Turcotte and Gertrude R. (Fox) Currier.

Roxann was raised in St. Johnsbury. Her family relocated to the seacoast over 40 years ago and eventually settled in Seabrook. A very devout woman, Roxann loved the church. She was also an outstanding seamstress.

Family members include her daughter, Tammy Gouin, (Matthew), and grandson, Matthew Gouin Jr. of Danville, N.H.; a brother, Everett Turcotte of Chesapeake, Va.; four sisters, Gail Turcotte of Nags Head, N.C., Faye Lucas of Elizabeth City, N.C., Robin Turcotte of Seabrook, N.H., and Penny Mizelle of Chesapeake, Va.; and a grandmother, Ruth (Woods) LaBounty of Saint Johnsbury, Vt.

ARRANGEMENTS: A service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 19, 2011 at St. Joseph Parish, 208 Pleasant St. (Route 27), Epping, N.H. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. In lieu of flowers or donations in Roxann's name may be made to St. Joseph Parish. The family would like extend a special thanks to all the professionals at Rockingham County Home for their 20-plus years of loving care.
