PORTLAND, Maine — Thomas W. Monahan, 48, of Portland, Maine, died Friday, Feb. 25, 2011 in the Togus VA Medical Center, Augusta, Maine.
Mr. Monahan was born in Melrose, Mass., on April 28, 1962, a son of Constance (Emery) Monahan and the late Richard J. "Cy" Monahan who died in 2007. He was raised and educated in Derry, where he was a 1979 graduate of Pinkerton Academy. He served with the U.S. Army where he worked as a calibration technician.
He is survived by his mother, Constance Monahan of Fremont, N.H.; his brother, Kevin J. Monahan of Manchester, N.H.; also several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his brother, David A. Monahan in 1974.
ARRANGEMENTS: Following cremation, a memorial service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
